August 23, 2026. Over 1.5 milllion views for the Golden Brown combo: cover and tutorial by Jasmine Elise.
The video is the driving force behind her main channel’s steady and continuous growth, serving as both a magnet and a catalyst. Some people just listen to Golden Brown, while others explore other covers as well as her original songs and, of those, some eventually end up subscribing. Before the end of the summer, the number of subscribers will hit the 10k mark and then the Golden Brown video will start heading to 2 million views. Message from the artist (July): “It’s been 6 years now and I can’t believe the amount of love this recording has got. Thank you so much for being here and listening. Recently I was told that some people have been reuploading this as their own music, I’ve never had that happen before, so I’ve just filled in a form asking for it to be taken down… Part of me thinks this is my fault for not putting it on streaming platforms sooner. So I’ve (hopefully it works…) just sent it off to be uploaded. I know it’s not my song, but it still feels important to me. So hopefully it should be out everywhere in a few days! I’m only ever called Jasmine Elise, so anyone else posting it is not me.” (source)
